David is Lovell Johns' Managing Director and has been with Lovell Johns since 1990. He has been responsible for the development of the company's digital resources, spearheading the change from conventional cartography to the leading edge of GIS and digital mapping.

David has been in the digital mapping industry for 14 years, backed up by a degree in computer science, a masters in business administration and experience in computer programming.

Having been on the Board of Lovell Johns for several years, he has now taken over Ben's general management duties and is looking forward to bringing some new direction and energy to Lovell Johns.

Ben Hill is a Director at Lovell Johns and has been with the company for over 25 years. He is a cartographer who has seen the business change from pen and ink drafting through to high-end GIS technology and survived.

Ben is a past-president and Fellow of the British Cartographic Society and devotes much of his time developing special responsibility for the cartographic publishing market.

His love of mapping even extends to his car registration plate, MAP 1T from which the inspiration of the company's newsletter originates.
