Avoid natural disasters thanks to the UN
The U.N has recently commissioned a project that seeks to reduce number of deaths from natural disasters all over the world by half. Information on the most and least risky places for natural disasters are being displayed geographically on an interactive map.
The interactive map serves as an information point for people seeking to avoid disasters but is also used by the U.N to aid disaster planning and management. All this comes after the U.N estimated that last year, natural disasters killed nearly 236,000 people costing 110 billion pounds of damage damage.
See the places that are prone to cyclones, earthquakes, droughts, fires, floods, tsunamis and volcanoes.
