Cycle Map for Aberdeen City Council

Requirement

The Aberdeen Cycle Map was coordinated by the Aberdeen Cycle Forum – a voluntary group encouraging and developing cycling within Aberdeen. It shows existing cycle facilities such as cycle lanes, as well as cycle shops, places to lock bikes, recommended quiet routes and recreational routes around Aberdeen.

Solution – Bespoke Port Maps

The Aberdeen Cycle Map was originally commissioned by Aberdeen City Council in 2004 and has now been reprinted 3 times, most recently in March 2012.  Aberdeen have also put the map online in a tiled format at the website address – http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/planning_environment/planning/transport/pla_cycle_maps.asp

Result

The map is clear and concise and has proved very popular.
