Requirement
Abercrombie & Kent is the leading tailor made and luxury holiday specialist for destinations worldwide. They approached Lovell Johns with a requirement for bespoke specialist holiday location maps on a canvas base, centred on 34 locations worldwide, to showcase their specialist travel offerings in a new retail environment.
Solution
Working closely with Abercrombie & Kent, our map designers suggested base mapping from Lovell Johns own Continental wallmap range which was then restyled to a neutral palette as requested by the client. The maps were detailed with additional information required by the Regional Offices such as specific locations of holiday sites and Points of Interest. A total of 9 sets of each of the 34 maps were produced.
Result
The mapping design and canvas production was all completed to a tight deadline, with Lovell Johns also managing the print production onto canvas. The client commented ‘The maps were very well received: Thank you very much for all your hard work on these, they look fantastic!.
