The term web mapping can mean a simple static map for display on a web page but is more often associated with an interactive mapping experience, enabling the user to view and filter specific information over different scales of base mapping. Lovell Johns’ development team have experience in developing interactive database driven web mapping solutions using a wide range of technologies and specialize in building bespoke solutions for either extranet or intranet.
With our background in cartographic services we often are required to provide both printed and web mapping solutions for the same project and we can advise on how to achieve the best results for these two outputs. As well as complex high – end solutions for European Commission and Local Government, we build simple Flash based sites and out of the box solutions using mapping APIs.
