Requirement
Eyeski produce an App for visitors to the Megeve ski resort in the French Alps. The brief was to provide clear mapping, small enough for efficient use within an App but also of high enough resolution to be able to stand zooming in.
Solution
Lovell Johns sourced a variety of copyright-free and Open Source data and compiled the map from this, using a blue theme to reflect the use of the town as a ski resort. Important locations such as parking, cable car stations, ski lifts, etc, are all highlighted by the use of symbols to help them stand out against the mapping.
Result
The mapping in the App and within the website is supplemented with photographs and useful information such as hotel and shopping locations and contact details.
