Vodafone holiday map fuelled by twitter

vodaThis week mobile phone network Vodafone have unveiled a new map using google maps and twitter’s freely available API to create a map from peoples tweets. All you have to do is tweet using the prescribed format which includes stating where you live and the destination you are holidaying at this summer. Once registered the map is instantly updated with your trip plotted on. This is a great example of how powerful the fusion of these two API’s can be.
