Encourage sustainable travel with well designed Active Travel maps
As Local Authorities seek to promote walking and cycling across towns and cities, up to date mapping can help shift behaviour. Good Active Travel Map design makes use of cartographic design skills in clearly representing the different routes and options available, for example providing on and off-road options and information for safe riding across a busy town centre.
The National Cycle Network (NCN) can also be added as well as recommended leisure routes and supporting information on local amenities such as cycle shops and Points of Interest. Our interactive solution can more easily provide multi-modal transport information where cycling and walking maps are combined with bus routes, allowing a user to research and plan their journey and link to further information such as timetables.
