Requirement
Lovell Johns were approached by West Oxfordshire District Council in 2024 who were seeking to commission a new map of Chipping Norton to promote the unique attractions of the town. The Council were seeking to help visitors orientate themselves at key arrival points and suggest points of interest and local attractions.
Solution
The Council selected our water colour illustrated map style and provided a list of key features to be illustrated in detail as vignettes. The main roads into and out of town are referenced and the map uses 14 detailed illustrations of key buildings and attractions. Greenspaces are highlighted around the edge of the town.
Result
Upon final artwork approval, weather-resistant DiBond copies were printed and handed over to the Council for local installation at the town centre key arrival points.
