Custom Illustrated & Artistic Maps
Lovell Johns specialise in creating custom or bespoke maps through a process of Cartographic Design in which we create a unique map according to a Brief or discussion with the client. In that sense, custom and bespoke maps do not use standard available base mapping such as Ordnance Survey or A to Z, but use a new one-off design to arrive at the end result. For example; maps for luxury travel destinations, for a University Campus, for a Stately Home or for a regional bus network all require custom or bespoke mapping.
Site-centred Custom Printed Maps
Our sister company Business Map Centre (BMC) offers site-centred maps using standard existing base mapping, e.g. from Ordnance Survey, A to Z or Philips as the starting point. BMC focuses on providing quick turnaround and cost-effective custom wallmaps, wallpaper and digital data supply in a wide variety of finishes. Mostly for UK clients needing a street level or regional scale mapping solution. BMC can add extra layers onto such maps such as postcode boundaries and office locations.
