Requirement
Lovell Johns were approached by a leading bridge design architectural practice seeking to commission a high-quality, custom-designed map to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The client provided a clear vision of a large folded map, showing off their key projects in the UK and various parts of the world.
Solution
With agreement on an A1 paper size, we were able to make use of our own copyright UK and Ireland and World maps. The client was seeking a simple, graphical base map and bathymetry, as well as adherence to their brand colour palette. Side A features UK locations and an inset map of London, side B the many worldwide commissions. All projects are highlighted with a simple pop-out box and bridge photograph.
Result
The double-sided maps, folding to A5, were printed and delivered in time for the anniversary event. From the same artwork, we also provided two AO foam-backed prints for office use.
