Client Requirement
Daventry Town Council were seeking to quickly develop a new map leaflet highlighting the various parks and open spaces to be enjoyed as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and beyond. The Projects Officer provided a useful map footprint and preferred style which allowed us to fix content, price and delivery.
Map Solution
An initial pencil sketch was produced to confirm the level of road detail and key elements of the map, before producing the colour artwork for further approval. The piece provides a useful at-a-glance reminder of where the various parks are around Daventry and uses a playful style to encourage visits and activities.
Result
Lovell Johns supplied digital versions of the file at A5 and A3 for use in hard copy flyers, as well as for download from the website. The map was delivered in time for the Platinum Jubilee 2nd June 2022 but there are plans to use the map for the promotion of the open spaces throughout the year.
