Originally founded in the 1960’s, The Historic Towns Trust was set up to promote research into the history and topography of cities and towns in Great Britain. The Trust publishes the Historic Town Atlases and other maps and related works.
The Trust has worked closely with Lovell Johns for many years in using our cartographic expertise for the cartography found in the atlases for Eton, York, Winchester, Oxford and London.
