Branded campus maps for University staff and students
The University of Gloucestershire had a requirement for branded campus maps to show their building locations within the general setting of the two cities, Gloucester and Cheltenham. The client was able to reference our website examples with clean lines and minimalist styling, but also wanted to bring in their own corporate colours, with various key University buildings highlighted. The maps had to work for print and digital formats.
The university supplied a list of buildings to focus on, that were associated with them and that formed important related locations around the towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester. We also received brand guidelines to define the colours and fonts of the campus maps. The university was keen to have a bright and engaging design. The map we produced makes a clear distinction between residential and campus buildings. The Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment Department coordinated feedback from other departments as well at every proof stage, from the start to the end of the project.
