Requirement
Silverlake is a modern country lakeside estate in Dorset providing luxury holiday homes for rent, with activities and a spa in beautiful surroundings. Lovell Johns were contacted by Silverlake’s development company in 2020 with a requirement for a unique estate plan, both as a static printed version and as an interactive online map.
Solution
An out-of-date site plan was provided by the client for use as a reference for the new map. A hand-drawn map style was preferred by Silverlake to convey a sense of place and bring out the key features such as the lakes, woodlands, fields and walking routes.
Result
With the map artwork approved, our in-house software developers programmed the interactive version with links to further information on key points of interest around the estate.
