Lovell Johns web development division, www.ljinteractive.com, have recently completed New Holland Publishers new e-commerce website. New Holland already had a website which was essentially a catalogue of all their current books, but with no e-commerce facilities and a somewhat outdated feel (which I’m sure they would agree themselves!)
The brief was to bring some life to their books and to add the ability for customers to place orders online. The shopping cart and payment processing on site allows orders to be directly sent to New Holland Publishers distribution company for shipping direct to customer.
The project also aimed to achieve improvements in the organic search by offering more accessible content and ultimately increase visits to the website. This is an ongoing project, which is already had some success for New Holland.
