Since our last MAPit Public Sector, the Ordnance Survey has now officially released a series of map datasets covering the UK. These map datasets are covered by the Creative Commons license which means they are free to use and commercially exploit without incurring any licensing fees.
These datasets could be useful for your department to use within GIS or internal tools, on your website or for printed maps such as leaflets or wall maps to help planning.
