Publishers benefit from our complete map making knowledge including map design and proofing, editorial research and data sourcing, GIS processing and digital map production in Illustrator, pagination and layout services, in-house programming and expertise in print output and management.
Where applicable, we use our data sourcing knowledge to utilise the increasing availability of open data so that a map will be royalty-free and intellectual property can remain with the client. We have a specific range of royalty free mapping, MapVu Outdoors, which is comparable to the OS Landranger and Explorer products. This allows guidebook, outdoor and educational publishers to replace what has previously been expensive map data with a royalty free product.
Our emphasis on quality map making has ensured our client list includes some of the largest and best known publishers:
- Harper Collins
- AA Publishing
- Dorling Kindersley
- Thomas Cook
- Punk Publishing
- Philip’s
- Michelin
- Cicerone
- Insight Guides
